All Giclees are made from the finest available printing materials including Epson pigmented inks and acid free primed cotton artist canvas. They are then sealed with two coats of Acrylic Gel Medium.
If you need a different size other than shown, we can print larger, up to 5’ x 40’ (depending on resolution), or smaller. We can also crop images, to change the proportions, i.e. to make an image more narrow or more square.
All canvases are Gallery wrapped so no additional framing is required. They are ready to hang directly on your wall.
We can also print on paper, including metallic, gloss, or rag paper, and face mount to plexiglass. Prints on canvas have the option of being glass coated with resin.
Every print is produced individually by Carol Korpi- McKinley to insure the best quality and the most accurate reproduction of her artistic vision. They are available in limited editions of 950 plus 75 artists' proofs.
Technical Info for those interested in photography: For the ‘in studio’ photography of the paintings we use a Betterlight 4x5 Scan Back (used by museums for reproduction work) in an 8x10 Cambo Camera. We custom built 2- 4’ x 8’ light boxes that emit 5500 kelvin. The landscape photography is shot with 6 different cameras including 2 infrared and a Nikon D800.
